New Web Site Launched

Finally, the long awaited and equally anticipated web site is now online for your viewing pleasure.

Sporting an edgy new look and brand-new features, ConradStoltz.com is back with a vengeance. Choose a background from the menu at the top, or browse through the new animated gallery. Read through Conrad’s exciting Journal. Or send him an e-mail message.

But it ain’t all fun and games. With this site, Conrad also pays tribute to his generous sponsors – without whom this web site wouldn’t be possible.

This web site is powered by the mighty WordPress. Originally intended for weblogs, this open source software has been modified to aid Conrad in keeping his web site entirely up-to-date, from anywhere in the world.

With that said – what are you waiting for?

Yes, it’s BROKIN

After answering the same questions 300 times, I made this sign. It did the trick.

The sign says:
Yes, its BROKIN.
I fell.
No, wont race Maui.
Yes, I’m Bummed.
Thanks 4 sympathy.

The operation went well, but all the ass-kissing in the world couldn’t convince Doc to pimp the job with Titanium hardware. And, no, its not coming out. From now on, dopers and other evil forces who dare cross my path will have to face the wrath of “The Bionic Hand.”

Oh yes, and for the compression fracture of T12, I’ll be wearing the cute back brace for 2 months. Guess The Bionic Hand will be “out of the office” for a while. Time to clean up.

I’ll be back in South Africa from around October 18th. Just in time for my first birthday at home in 6 years. Despite being in Darkest Africa, I will be reachable via email, & Skype (stoltzmachine) Feel free to send “get well soon” cards, B-day presents or fat sponsorship contracts. Or all of the above.

Conrad

Crash at XTERRA USA Champs

I took a big tumble pre riding the XTERRA USA Champs this weekend. Went over the bars at high speed, landed on my head, splitting my helmet.

Fractured my wrist in 4 places, and I have a compression fracture of T12.

Having surgery to repair and plate the wrist in Reno on Wednesday, and will be wearing a back brace for 2 months to help the spine heal.

I’m in good spirits and am thankful to be able to make a full recovery.

I obviously wont be racing in Maui, and hope to travel home to South Africa in about 2 weeks, to be with my parents. (my dad has 5 more chemo treatments to go. Us cripples will farm from the stoep. “veranda” )

Those who know me well will agree that next year I’ll be back with renewed vigor.

Thanks a lot for your support.

Regards
Conrad
