Nikola Tosic- The Serb behind the blogging
Here is a screen shot of Nikola Tosic, (on the right) “Cooling or dieing” and the Caveman blog he made. I posted the screen shot because I couldn’t figure out how to get the pic of him being cool (or dieing?). It turns out to be quite an interesting touch, I think. Sort of “a look into the Caveman’s desktop.” Notice the “Canadian visa South African” in the Google search box.
Nikola has taught me everything I know about blogging. Ok, its not much. How about “Nikola can teach me everything I ever want to know about blogging!”
He started and runs Nekada triathlon team which is basically a few hand selected triathletes (including Dan Hugo) from around the world, teaching us to how to blog, build brands and use the internet to optimize athletes’ exposure on the World Wide Web.
Nikola races Ironman, spends a few months in South Africa every year to escape the Serbian winter.
A seriously interesting character, (see tosic.com or any of his other 15 websites) he says it like it is, writes poetry, thinks outside of the box, likes art, design and especially arguing…

Thanks Nils. Making a sweaty Caveman look good in the Alabama woods takes real talent!
I’m in Darkest Africa at the moment and dont get magazines or follow news on the web. So this was a nice surprise.

Secret Trail riding. Grabouw, South Africa.
The climb was brutal, but once we disappeared into the clouds and the trail leveled out, it was as if we were in heaven. Trail riding heaven that is! The trails were tricky, rocky and scary at times.
Riding with Christoph Sauser and Conrad Stoltz…
It was “Make a wish” for 16 year old mountain biker Justin Pictor from Stellenbosch South Africa. Fresh off a great 3rd in the under 17 race at South African Mountainbike Nationals last week, it was good to catch up with Justin again.
A year ago I rode with him and some friends. His ability and enthusiasm for mountain biking was fun to watch. I raised his saddle by a massive 3cm, helped with a technical, nutrition and racing tips. He trained really well, right through the holidays, and all around he has improved tremendously in just 1 year. Its fun to watch the kids improve in leaps and bounds, because once you get to the top level, (and has been there for a while) improvement is few and far between.
